My boiler keeps loosing pressure even though 'they' keep coming to fix it, the pressure goes again.
they say it must be a leak in the system somewhere.
How can i identify the leak and seal it?

Help, I`m freeezing!

thanks

First of all check the radiator valves by wrapping kitchen roll around them and pressing. A radiator can leak - but the leak evaporates so you never know that it is leaking.

Do the same with every visible joint. I guess that your Gas Safe man ruled out the boiler?

Did he tell you to switch off the valves under the boiler to trap the water in the pipes? If the pressure goes down overnight when they are closed it is the boiler at fault. If the pressure is still up there - then you have a leak in your pipes/rads.

Make and model of boiler may help here.

Be warned, turning off the valves under the boiler may cause them to start leaking, adding another problem to the one you already have!

If the engineer half knows what he is doing, he WON'T have done that because the majority will start leaking. Fire, frying pan comes to mind; like most of your advice.
