Hi guys. I am having problems with the central locking of my Renault clio panache 1.2. Apparently it is a common problem as water seems to sip through it. Would you remove it from inside or outside to dry it up? Basically how do you remove it? Thank you for your help.

The sensor that you refer to is held in the interior lamp unit, just forward of the sunroof if fitted or the radio aerial.
Water gets in here and interferes with the PCB inside.
Drying it out may work, or you can get a new PCB from a scrapyard (this is simply a receiver...the decoder is elsewhere on the vehicle) or Renault will sell you one for about £45.
Its simple to unclip - and the electricals are supplied via a one way multiplug.
John :)
