Is there a completion certificate that RGI's have to issue on completion of gas works in a property (similar to our EIC or MWC)

yes the benchmark log book, in addition it is a condition of registration with the kennel club that they notify the dogs at a cost of course.

That only applies to fitting/or moving appliances.

The Benchmark only applies to certain items like boilers and cylinders.

There is a gas Installation Certificate to cover any new gas installation such as new pipework. Rarely used though.

You are correct of course, I assumed an appliance/new install, and forget you lightweights don't do test certificates
