My CH system consists of a Potterton Prima 40F gas boiler, Myson Compact CP53 pump (3 speed), Sunvic SD 2701 motorised valve, Sunvic SP50 timer, thermostat to control the hot water on immersion tank, no room thermostat.
The problem being that the CH is not heating the rads but the HW is heating up. This started happening yesterday. Nothing has been changed. I have removed any air from the system and checked the pump (which is turning and not locked) but it seems to be getting extremely hot. I have also tried changing the speed of the pump to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks.
