Please someone help!

I have an open vented CH system. I have recently had a new pump installed and a small pience of pipe replaced as a blockage was detected. I have turned the pump speed down and added F3 cleanser to the F&E tank. No Change. Hot water is still flowing from vent pipe. Furthermore it appears when putting my hand in tank that the small outlet appears to be forcing water in?

There is no change in the level of water in the tank which seems to suggest the water is being recycled in soem way. I think it could be a blockage in the pipe work around teh vent pipe. The vent pipework appears to go to the top left of the boiler.

Any ideas?

has this problem always been happening (or have you not noticed before)?

how far does the vent pipe rise above the tank before bending over and down into it?

how far is the pump from the water level in the tank?

have you got a magnet?

Also, is this happening when the pump is on, or after a while (about 20 mins) of the heating or hot water being on?

Thanks for reply

The water starts almost as soon as heating is turned on.

The pump has been replaced in the same place where it was sited before. A small pience of piping was cut where the feed comes from the F&e talk (t joint). I think it could be a blockage around this area.

When putting a magnet around this area it does seem to attract.

Thanks.

On 3 at present but when turning down to 1 it still does it but slower. Would it cost much for a plumber to replace piping? Also is it something which can be diagnosed easily?
