chalky residue

just had my kitchen re tiled,whats the best way to get rid of the chalky film on top of the tiles?and is there something on the market i can apply to give them that bright shiney look?

get a towel and give them a good rub over with it,dust gone.

I'm surprised the tiler didn't polish them up himself when he'd finished the tiling. That should be part of his job.
