hi guys,
had a problem with a boiler, hot water runs cold after a minute so i the dhw diaphram on the divertor head, it was noted that the boiler lit first time but went out shortly moments later leaving water to run cold again.
the boiler now fails to fire up for both ch and hw.

could the 3way(divertor) be siezed, would this stop the boiler from lighting for both ch and hw??
sorry for the mail being a simple to the more experienced but ive got cards but no experience as ive been on the sick since passing my acs

makes me laugh how some people can have the nerve to offer a service if he/she dosn't know what there doing, another example of a short course effort  you lot give us all a bad name you know

your reply was not really worth the effort you put into it. read it again youll see ive been on the sick for the last couple of years, this accounts for lack of experience, as for offering a service well read it again im on sick.
purpose of the forum is to help others, do you really do that or do you just belittle other people

chek you've connected the divertor head correctly first, and then post the actual model of the boiler :) intital thought is a blocked plate hex but lets see what othe rinfo you can give. ... more advice can be gotten through the combustion chamber if you are gas safe

boiler is an ariston euro combi a23 mffi. got cards but i dont work in the industry as yet will have to go out as a freebie with a employer when im fit to return to work(have done so n the past).

the divertor on the ariston isnt like others where the needle pushes the micro switch, on the ariston the needle goes into the 3way valve.

divertor head(dhw diaphram) is fitted ok pretty simple two screws hold it to the 3 way valve, diaphram taken out was in ok but a little stretched looking change it for a new one fitted same as the old one.
tested hw boiler lit and then went out moments later leaving only cold water and no ch, today boiler lit water went hot to cold as the boiler flamed out again.

im thinking the working on the 3way could be at fault but would like proffessional opinions first

so in basic on demand for hw and ch boiler lights and then goes out leaving only cold water

Leave it to an expert. We help DIY'ers, not a wannabe who is earning out of this job. Go back to basics, understand the boiler and work it out. We have all had to in our time. Its called experience. Oh, dont bore us with the Ariston, we all know how it works
