Changing a light switch

Hi,

If I have a 1 way light switch, can I replace it with a 2 way switch even if I don't want to use it as a 2 way? (I bought the switches yesterday and have just noticed that they are 2 way, rather than 1.)

yes, just ignore the L2 terminal
