Changing a shower hose to a shower head

At the moment a have an electric mixer shower which the hose comes out from the bottom.

I would like to use the shower but install a fixed shower head. is it possible to install the fixed shower head using the same shower unit.

i.e.

can i put the pipes going from the bottom up the wall and connecting to the fixed shower head?

Where is the shower head at the moment? If the proposed new one is no higher then i can see no problem.
