Our son is moving and needs to change his address on the logbook. His new address is a flat so it's "FLAT 5, 123 Letsbe Avenue" (as an example), but the online form won't recognise flats, just a house number. Anyone done this recently and know how to get the flat number entered? He changed the address on his driving license online without this issue.

Have fun with them bozos,

Similar thing happened when I did a money claim on line it would not recognise the post code of the defendant !!!!

Just use the address that it will accept.
How important is it that you include the flat number.
Posties get used to names living at the addresses and the postie will know who lives in which flats.

Because of course, you will never have a new postman.

Well he will just have to sell it then. Tell him to write smaller. It ain’t rocket science.
