I have been trying to change an indicator light bulb of my Y registered C180 Avantgarde mercedes. I have used about 5 bulbs so far and the computer on the car does not seem to recognise the bulb has been changed. The bulbs dont light up so please, please, help me.

A frustrating problem.
You could:
a) check the bulb you're putting in for continuity, using a meter or a continuity tester. If the bulb is OK you need to look elsewhere.
b) check that there is a current present at the connector, using a 12v test lamp with the ignition on and the indicator switch in the appropriate position.
c) check the connector for any signs of corrosion, and clean if necessary. Make sure you have a sound earth to the light cluster (depending how the earth is arranged).
