I am changing from a Flashguard 100 XL bellbox to a Texacon Odyssey 1/1E
The main unit is a OPTIMA XM6.

There are six wires going into the 100 XL bell box, these are,
Tamper settings NEG. SUPPLY D=RED . A=BLACK. TRIGGER B=BLUE (only the neg terminal is used on the trigger section). TAMPER. T=YELLOW (only OUT used on tamper section). STROBE. NEG=GREEN and POS = WHITE

On the Texecom Bell box there are only five connections these are, +VE supply A = RED. -VE Bell B = Blue.. -VE Tamper C=Yellow. OV D=Black. and -VE Strobe S=Green.

There is no terminal for the White wire (+ Strobe).

I would also like to stop the strobe flashing when the siren stops

I would also like to stop the strobe flashing when the siren stops

Connect as you have typed but --

Forget about the green wire and the white (cut the end of the wire and put a bit of tape over each one) then put a wire link between -ve bell BLUE and -ve strobe.

This unit gets its +ve strobe internally off the board and if you wire as above.

The strobe will now follow what the sounder does.

Hope this helps
