Changing old switch and confused by new terminal names L,L1, L2 to COM, L1,L2

Hi there,

I have seen previous posts that to swap the cables as so
L1 . . . . COM ( I assumed this would be L - COM)
L2 . . . . L1
L3 . . . . L2

I also read that switch lives should go in L1 and permanent lives in COM.
However I am getting confused with the all the cables and there seems to be quite a few switch lives.

First pic is the original wiring
Second is the new switch
Third is the new switch ( ignore the cables I know they are wrong)

Just treat the 3 switches as 3 triangles, they are the opposite way round on the new switch, just transfer the wires over one by one.

Old- new
L - com
L1 - L1
L2 - L2
The above is correct

Well done for taking a before pic, you're probably gonna need it.

Thanks Pete, I have done what you suggested however the light first switch where there was two switch lives (black = living room, blue = kitchen) in the L1 terminal is now turning on both my living room and the kitchen light.

I thought about taking the blue switch live and putting it in the second switch L1 but nothing is happening.

It looks ok, you didn't mix up the blues or yellows did you?

The middle switch red, yellow, blue should all be coming from the same cable.

Looking closer, I think you might have mixed the blues up, cant see the red sleeve on the one?
