Hi,

My first call for help.....:)
I would like to swap an old Landis & Gyr thermostat for a newer one.

The existing thermostat has 3 wires - live, neutral and earth (marked as earth and connected to the metal casing in the thermostat)

The new thermostat has four connections - a Sunvic TLX 9201

Will this fit? If so what connections go where?
I tried the N to N and L to connections 1 and 3 and it either does nothing (1) or the light stays on and does nothing (3)

Thanks very much for any help!

Yep and i believe you require a 2 wire room stat which will allow you to wire up without the neutral. The wire you believe to be neutral is a switch live
