i have a combi and want to change my kitchen taps is it easy and what do i do? thanks

turn off water at mains, or on isolator valves if they have been installed.
open taps
undo nut connecting taps, expect a bit of water
undo nut holding taps to the sink and remove taps.
replace with new taps, doing everything in the opposite.

If they are monoblock taps screw in the hoses first, then install on sink, should come with instructions for the fitting of the taps, read twice

Remember to replace the fibre washers on the taps connectors, make sure you take the old ones out and wipe any bits out of the ends.

Turn water back on, check for any leaks and tighten if necessary

wonderboy if you were doing this job how much would charge?

please see rule number 9

it all depends, what taps your replaceing them with, how old the currant ones are.. blah blah blah, don't let it sound more daunting than it is. just get a few quotes if you think it might be too much work to try yourself, you shouldn't be paying too much though as it shouldn't take a plumber more than an hour to do... if it's staight forward.
