Hi all,
I know this question has been raised many times and I have seen the sticky on this but just wanted clarifaction that what I am about to do will be the correct way.
I have a ACL Lifestyle T45 manual thermostat which I want to change to a Drayton Digistat 3 model No. 22083.
I have established that the yellow wire is the call and the red is permanent live.
My question just to confirm is that the yellow will go to On and the red to C on my new thermostat?
I have read that I will have to isolate the blue aswel as the earth but will I do this to the wires the other end or just leave them as they are?
Have enclosed link to photos for clarification.
Many thanks.

That's correct. It is also OK to terminate the blue and earth at the stat end only as long as it's done properly e.g. using terminal block.
