Danny forgot to mention the loft tanks to be disconnected and removed as well. If there are no complications we charge about £1850 inc.
If you get the right person ( like Danny ) even an old boiler can be renovated.
I was called to an older Ideal Sprint last week. Had not been used for over a year and was in a sad state. She had been told that it could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. I agreed that it should be replaced within the next couple of years but spent the afternoon renovating it and sure enough by 6 pm she had her hot shower.
