Is it possible to change a trv on an upstairs radiator. Without draining the system. Without causing a flood.

Don't open the bleed valve on the rad. Shut the locksheild off. Take the pressure out of the system. Then swap the valve? It should airlock?

Surely only on a sealed system, not open vented?
