Channelling plaster board, is there an easy option?

I am about to fit an electric shower(hopefuly)! It is a new house and the walls are plaster board. What is the best way of taking a supply from the rising main to the new pump.
The wall in question is plasterboard attached to breeze block with about 2" gap by means of dot and dab.
Do i have to cut a panel out, fit the pipe than re-plaster it, or is there an easier option? Is a flexible pipe such as those used to fit dishwashers an easier option or am I just being stupidly lazy!!!

i dont know what shower u are fitting, check what pipework the shower requires and what electrics.

i would cut an access hole and push pipework thru and try and fix to breeze blocks and then refit the cut out with dob and dab ? with the pipework coming out at 90 d.

I'm fitting a Mira cold feed only electric shower

if u have mains water in the loft i'd do a drop from the loft. try looking for where the plasterboard and breeze blocks are and shove a pipe down or do a cut out near to where the shower is going and shove it up. if not u'll have to cut/chase out all the way (only about 2 foot)
