Cheap Medical Elbow Taps

HI all,

Trying to source some medical elbow taps (two seperate) or even a monobloc(will change the sink!), for a small bathroom type sing in a G.P's surgery.

Does anyone know of any cheap supplier of these?

Thanks, but I think he wants to get something similar but not as expensive. Just needs to have the elbow/wrist functionality, for hygiene reasons.

I got a pair off Screwfix a couple of years ago, think they were called "lever" taps

they can't have been expensive

Bristan do a conversion kit for either monobloc or standard taps.

I have done a few conversions now for people with disabilities rather than doctors but they are about £12.00 for the kit.

They are left and right handed quarter turn available from plumbase

I was in our local hospital recently and noticed that virtually none of the staff used the taps as they should - with their elbows. They all used their hands to turn the tap on and off

I suspect they are relying on the antiseptic gels which most of them carry around on their belt or attached to the wall in each ward.

I think I heard that the alcohol gels kill MRSA, but not C Difficile

I suspect they just can't be arsed.
