Is it true that i expect to pay less in summer for central heating than in winter ( in theory plumbers are quieter in summer as hot etc..)?

Absolutely not.

We dont increase or installation quotes on a seasonal basis. Yes its true we are busier in winter with breakdowns heating not working and so on.
Installs are fairly steady, most of us will be doing two or three a month with breakdown and services in between, not to mention plumbing work leaks, installs and repairs.

I was reading your thread last night, and before Dave had posted a guesstimate figure, I was thinking £6500+. and Im in the northwest, Dave is Norfolk where prices are dearer, so gave you a very good estimate.

My prices are the same all year round. We are normally busier in the summer for installations.

Yes that true.

Fuel, vehicle tax, wages, insurances, materials. food ect are cheaper in the summer

Or putting it bluntly, don't ask stupid question.

Are you any where near Parkgate Chester for a quote? I am really looking for some one who will do a good proper job than counting the pennies.

I too quote the same prices all year round, the same for posh looking houses or ex local authority and the same for a woman on her own or a male

There are cowboys out there that try to con people with different tricks, but then a cowboy would not be bothering to take his own personal time to post on here for free.

My rough estimate was plus VAT as well
