About to get a DPC treatment done on the house to the whole property. I'll be knocking the plaster off the walls to 1000mm as required, but I was wondering what the cheapest way to remedy would be from the following;
-I fix plasterboard to the walls myself and pay a plasterer to skim
-Knock all the plaster off the walls and pay a plasterer to do a full 2 coats
-Pay a plasterer to make good 1000mm which I've knocked off (it's a 1930's property, so not sure what the plaster's like and it they'd be able to get a neat finish).
Obviously, I plan to get some quotes, just wondering if anyone knows what the best route to take is before I start removing plaster!
