Hi all

I need to put down a temporary landing floor and wondered what my cheapest option is? Doesn't matter what it looks like... Should I be looking at OSB, chipboard style loft boards, MDF, ply, or ??? Planks or any type would be fine too, so long as what I go for isn't splinter inducing :)

Cheers

depends on the time that you need it down, and how often you need to lift it in between.
Ordinary chipboard or T&G flooring chipboard may be fine. Or it may happen to be that the standard loft pack is nearly the size to fit in your landing with minimal waste?
Loft chipboard is more expensive per square metre but is easier to transport and handle.
