Chemical fumes in Bedroom

I have recently brought a house that has a glue like smell in just one of the bedrooms. The house is only 13 years old, the flooring is laminate throughout.
The odour is very strong to start with but actually finding where it is coming from is difficult as I get used to the smell quickly.
Are there any firms/experts that you are able to suggest? I have contacted the councils Health and Safety dept and am waiting for a call but thought you might be able to help.

Is there any sign of recent decorating or flooring in this room?

Have you asked the previous owner if they did any recent decorating etc in this room?
