chimney access from inside

a long shot, but..

has anyone seen a system built into a chimney where the flues can be accessed, and cleaned from the side of the chimney ( inside the building) , thus avoiding climbing up on the roof to clean the chimney.
A hatch door, that leads into the flues.

maybe a T'eed flue liner or Y liner

You can get many flue fittings with access doors (usually, screwed on plates) such as this example.

Another approach is to build a soot door into the masonry of a chimney.
