Chocolate in fridge?

Why? Its not going to melt at room teperature is it? Its 9 degrees outside and we have no heating on! I'm trying to chip my way through a toffee crisp! My boss once told me she likes mars bars from the freezer. I tried this, they go solid as a rock and quite damp and sticky when eating / sucking.

i really do not like chocolate that has been chilled. in my opinion, the pleasure of chocolate is the way that it readily melts at body temperature.

chilling chocolate spoils this completely.
