Christmas!

It's the 4th of September.

I am depressed.

Why?

I have just seen an advert on TV.

Barring the Christmas Savings schemes adverts that come on in January, this is the first mention of Christmas in a TV advert this year.

SCS advertising carpet fitting before Christmas....

I did escape the first appearance of mince pies in the shops this year, which a few years ago appeared in the Co-op in the village before the end of August!
