Chrome Finish

i have got a chrome light switch which i have scratched around the screws. I have tried to buff out the marks but it has left a dull finish! Has anybody got any tips on how to get the chrome finish back.

Chrome plating is normally only a few microns thick on top of a base material. You can't really T-CUT it like you would on your car. Try getting it re-plated at a metal finishers.

ill replace it, its only a light switch. I was hoping there would be a cheaper repair option.
