Chromecast screensaver

I am using the Chromecast and have pictures in Google Photos which appear as my screen saver. the pictures appear in a random order (not using the curate option). If I view a slideshow on Google Photos via the browser, they are sorted correctly i.e. by date.

Can anyone advise please.

How do I enforce the same sort order on TV as they are currently randomly selected from the album?
