My kitchen is limited for space, so to move an appliance generally means having to move one or two other appliances.
I wanted to renew the door seal on my Hotpoint WMA44 and the procedure, advised and on videos shows to take the lid off, take the control panel out, then dismantle the front.
I managed to change it in twenty minutes through the door opening and in situ, and having tested the seal retainers several times have now run the machine with no leaks.
Small things I suppose, but I am chuffed.

Ace - well done! I appreciate your sense of satisfaction - I recently fixed a broken door catch and replaced the seal on our washing machine (albeit with front & lid off). The joy of YouTube videos!
Sadly two weeks later the bearings started to go :D
