is it right that if you put a 12volt supply into the cigi lighter it will keep the memory on the wireless and car ecu unut ? regards, r.r.

If the cig lighter is live with ignition off then it will keep the electrics live with the battery disconnected - don't let the bat +ve lead touch the chassis!!

yep its live when ignition off/ so when i swap battery back i will try it that way , instead of trying to keep main leads connected via a portable power pack [ very clumsy ] . thanks again. regards. r.r.
