Does anyone know where I can buy a circular fluorescent light about 18 inches diameter, that will fit flush to the ceiling

That TLC one is also available at most branches of Wilts.

They have not been re-designed for 30 odd years - yuk!
 
Thanks for the replies. I found the TLC site before and agree the designs are not the best. Cannot find 'sheds' is this the name of a company? Anyone know of any other places to get a flush fitting circular fluorescent light
 
yes, a differnt wholesaler or diy shed or on line lighting shop. why don't you just seach the net?
 
even easier, now you have given it to them on a plate, edit it and write "search engine"
 
Philips make some..they take really powerful 36W T5 Tubes that run around the perifery of the unit.

Warning..they are exceptionally bright, in our building we have three in a corridor some 15 meters long, and they are too bright!

Philips have incorporated a silvered reflector in the fitting that relects 99.2% of all light back out of the fitting....these are eye hurters in low cielings..
