Hi all,
I need to get a new TCT blade for my circular saw. Its a Worx 1500w machine and works really well. The original blade has written on it:-
185 x 1.6 x 16 - 24 teeth
I presume the 185 is the diameter, the 1.6 is the thickness and the 16 is the bore in mm.

I am having trouble finding the correct blade for the saw. I have found a few 184mm blades but with a 2.4 thickness instead of the 1.6. would these be ok? Does anyone know where I can get one?

Many thanks

184 is ok the 1.6 fitted is a cheap blade so go for the 2.4
Thanks for that. I was worried the extra thickness may cause problems.
I guess the 184mm will ujust mean the depth of cut will just be shorter. :)

I have found some blades with bore reducers from say 30mm to the 16mm i need. Am I right in thinking I should try and avoid these where possible?

Thanks for your help.

If you can get a proper 16mm bore blade, take it. Otherwise, a bore reducer should be acceptable so long as the flanges on your saw are large enough to grip the blade itself.

Just as I thought.
Thanks for your help.
