CITADEL XR2 ALARM - WHAT PIRS DO I NEED?

Hi all,

One of my PIR's is faulty and needs to be replaced. Can i just replace this with any universal PIR or do i need a specific one?

I've looked in screwfix etc and they seem to have a few universal ones, but once i open them i cant get a refund

hi any standard pir will do if you are getting from screwfix don't buy the yale ones, you will need the tate ones, but there are better pirs out there for the same money.

I asked a similar question relating to changing my PiR's to pet friendly ones. I was recommended Bosch Blue Line or Optex. Have a browse around here...

The ones I was directed to were more like this (but with pet immunity)

but that led onto a discussion about what difference there was between the cheap and the expensive. I eventually went for the cheap, and it seems to be working out just dandy so far. If you want a long read, here's the thread
