citroen relay 2.2 hdi 2011. Turbo removal and turbo to intercooler hose removal. Any one know how it is accessed and removed. Is it done from underneath.

Many Thanks

I haven't fitted a turbo to these but I have replaced an exhaust - and I can confirm that its bloody cramped down there and I can't see how the thing would come out from the top as its low down.
One tip is to remove the offside engine mounting to allow the engine to come forward.
Can I (dare I) ask why you need to replace the turbo?
John :)

Hi Thanks for the reply. I dont actually need to replace the turbo. I was covering myself in case it was a simple task, so not to look daft. I have a leak/ split on the turbo to intercooler down pipe . RAC man said it was bottom piece to intercooler pipe. It wasnt I removed that piece today and is fine. But getting the rest off dosent look doable from underneath. So I thought I would ask in case there is an easier way. As the split/leak must be higher up the hose as its in 3 peices if split.
