Clamp meter

Is there such a thing as a clamp meter accessory that one could plug their multimeter leads into? I've lost my clamp meter, but rarely used it, however it was handy to have for reading amp draw.

Basic current clamps are usually current transformers and as such block DC.

Thanks mate I didn't know that, perhaps I should invest in a good quality clamp meter.

[Agile]

Maplin have a cheaper clamp meter with other ranges at about £27 but sometimes about £20 during sales.

The big advantage of that one is that it reads down to 10 mA which is ideal for earth leakage testing.

Its the normal one that I use for boiler repairs!
