I've been listening to Classic F.M since it began 30 years ago and every now and then a piece of music will rattle around my mind that i didn't know til it played on the radio...so bearing that in mind, anytime y'all feel like listening to something instrumental before rock n' roll was born, feel free to play it here.

Davida Scheffers (cor Anglais) won a contest and the opportunity to play with the Netherlands Orchestra. She was going to be a professional musician, but developed MS which derailed her career, and she thought she would never get to play in a professional orchestra again... The young blond woman in the audience is her daughter and she was 18 years old that day.
