The manual says: "The Spirovent must be drained off frequently by a qualified installer"
a) how often is 'frequently'
b) How hard can this be? do I really need an 'installer'? Can anyone who's done this advise how to do it / what can go wrong.

It looks like simply attaching a hose at the bottom and using a spanner to gently open it at the side?

Thanks boilerdok.

Easier even than I expected. 'Qualified installer' my *rse!
