I have a gully out the front of the house which is overflowing. I've put my hand in and it feels like it's full of soil. I can't get any more out but it's still blocked.

I've tried a hose pipe but no good.

Do I need to hire/buy some drainage rods?

Any tips appreciated.

I’d it just water in there now or still soil? If it’s still soil, then rods won’t really do much. Gully scoops, or breaking the soil up may assist first.

No it's still blocked. It's about a drainpipe size and runs under a farm track. I'll look into what gully scoops are! Cheers.
