How can I remove this staining from my sink. Just moved into the flat, I think it has been caused by a dripping tap.

If it's limescale white vinegar will shift it.

Or add some citric acid to boiling water and pour it on, it should just melt off

Try hydrogen peroxide

Use descaler and carefully scrape it with stanley blade and holder. It will come off easy.

Lemon juice and steel wool. I didn't believe it either - until I used it, and the basin looked like new.

Harpic. Leave it for an hour and it should pretty much wipe.off.

lemon,a non chemical solution.
3 large lemons,cut in halves and squeeze juice onto kebab stain,then rub lemon over stain and leave for 6 hours then repeat several times.
do not drain away till clean.
chemicals also work.but if you get chemical in your eyes sometimes there is no reversal.

I tried that once and it didn't work.
I tried it for a second night and it still didn't work.

On the third night I decided to try pouring the coke into the sink.
