Clear a blocked flexi-pipe toilet?

I blame the silly water saving loos or stupid idea of putting a brick in your cistern - maybe if you have a modern plastic sewer system with loverly smooth walls with no cracked salt glaze or roots or dodgy joins but for me I will keep flushing as much water down there as I can thank you.
More eco nonsense - low flush loo that you have to flush twice as the first go failed so you end up using more water than a good flush in the first place.

I have noticed something similar with ours - an occasional 'big boy' will make the water in the pan rise alarmingly before disappearing with a whoosh - just before it’s about to overflow! I recently fixed a leaking flush valve but the fill valve is cruddy and noisy. My w/c needs completely removing to do anything so later on, I’m going to remove it, fit a new flush and fill valve, replace the flexi pan connector as well as the flexi fill pipe.

Yep, ours is the exact same style of loo. And, had to use a flexi as only option of fitting.

A good plumber with a product knowledge can do these things properly without a flex, in some cases
