Clear adhesive

May be a stupid question but is there a clear tile adhesive something I think will be quite similar to silicone adhesives but it would need the rigidity and support behind it to prevent the tiles from cracking

I've never come across any. I've got to ask though... why?

thinking about glass blocks and tiles combination, incorporating led lights bhind / around the tiles either that or flush wall lights

If you had clear adhesive, you would be able to see the back of the tiles, which wouldn't look much different to the adhesive. So it begs the question.... why bother?

if they are that see through just use white adhesive
