Clicking problem with Whirlpool AFG386/H upright freezer

My second hand Whirlpool garage freezer has started clicking and flashing on the control panel. The problem is not continuous and happens about 50% of the time. This fault was reported on this forum in 2008 and a new thermostat relay was prescribed but I don't know where to buy one or how to fit it.
