Hello

Sorry I'm new here so hope this is in the right place.

For about a week now I am getting a loud clicking/ticking noise constantly from my heating programmer (not sure if that's the right name so please see attached image) still have hot water and heating but the timer is a little tempramental.

Even with gas/heating and the whole system switched off the noise continues.

Any help appreciated, I love a new diy challenge is this something I can do myself?

Tried to upload a video but it kept saying file too large but the sound is constant

Thank you

It has a sort of clockwork mechanism driven by a small electric motor. You can hear the gears moving.

It might have got noisier as it wears with age.

That type is very simple and intuitive to use, but you can change to a digital clock type if you want.

The picture is very badly lit and I can't read the markings.
