Was talking work with my uncle over the weekend,
he's been a retired engineer a few years now, and was telling me about a one of his first jobs he encountered whilst working for BT soon after he left the navy.
So a simple provide of a BT socket/extension in a business premesis. He'd agreed with the customer to clip the cable just below a dado rail along the wall.
First wall cable clipped neat and tidy. Then to the corner for the next wall. He hit the first clip in with the hammer to and almight crashing sound, as the whole wall infront of him broke into pieces and fell apart.....
In hindsight it may have been a good idea if they had informed hime that the wall was inface a glass partition which had been painted on both sides and had a dado rail glued to it.......
I think im gone tap each wall i encounter from now on... I ****ed myself when he told me sounds to good to be true.
