Aside fromn the sarcastic bits, what rather surprises me is that, apart from one very small "P.S.", the OP has yet to be in receipt of any of the 'expected responses' to his question :) ... maybe our policer is still eating his evening meal!

BTW - there are cables that do required specialist equipment for termination. MICC (Mineral Insulated Copper Clad, often called Pyro which is a trade name from one manufacturer) is one in reasonably common usage.

Pyro is the cable of champions :LOL:

Though, not forgetting of course that its possible to terminate MICC without any of the expensive tools sold for doing do.
