Cloud 9 cirrus or Tredaire elite? cheers

Hi,

Any advice on the best underlay out of these two?

Cloud 9 cirrus or Tredaire elite?

Searched the net lots of opinions but nowt to confirm the best. It is for living room carpet, quite a long pile, 23.99 a meter for the carpet. It is on top of floor boards too.

As always any advice is appreciated

cloud nine sirrus is 9mm thick
tredaire elite is 9.75mm thick

the two have similar densities

so - ask to stand on a sample of your chosen carpet laid on top of the underlay samples and choose the one you prefer

unless there is a massive purchase price difference

Yes have done that already was just seeing if one was a lot better etc.

The cloud 9 is far cheaper so looks like that one.
