cloudy water???

What is the cause of cloudy water...

When the cold tap is turned on the water is cloudy for a few seconds then its fine and clear.

What is it and is there anything to stop it??

breath the air out of the water before u drink it.

not that i have found out on here or by ringing water board

Cloudy water can be caused by Flouride and various salts that are either put in the water or occur naturally

Could it be a siliphos loaded scale reducer (e.g. Combi mate) fitting to your incoming mains ?
