Clover in garden

Have sprinkled Evergreen complete on garden a couple of time now and the lawn is pretty much weed free apart from a few patches of clover.

How do i get rid of this? Is there anything specific to kill it off or will a few more goes of evergreen be enough.

Either apply lawnsand or use Vedone Extra. Lawnsand can be applied on the whole lawn but only tackle this if you have a suitable spreader. If you don’t have a spreader and the area is not too large you can apply it using a dustpan. First thing in the morning, when the clover is covered in dew, is a good time as the sand will stick to the clover leaves and do its work. If the clover is dry then you can wet it using a spray and then apply the lawnsand. If you apply it on dry clover the fine sand will tend to fall off the clover leaves and you will have wasted your time.
Be careful not to overdo it as you could end up with a brown patch so it is best to err on the side of caution and then re-apply if necessary. If you don’t fancy lawnsand then you could use the Verdone. This is diluted with water and can be applied with a watering can but I find a spray is better. Either of these methods will kill the clover. Feed your lawn every six weeks in the summer to keep weeds and moss to a minimum. Have fun.
