Code required for installing software

My Dell computer came with MS works suite installed + the set of CDs. I did a clean win xp installation. To reinstal , the code is needed which was not provided. I do not have the original sleeves in which they came, for me to check. Should I approach Dell or am I destined to purchase another works suite.
Please advise. Thanks

Almost definitely.

I can't see Dell being much help, but you won't know until you call them.
